How to Make Eva Longoria's White Christmas Margarita - Parade Magazine

It’s time to shake up a white Christmas this holiday season.

While the holiday season can be a time of togetherness, it can also be quite overwhelming to hosts as they try to prep and plan every single inch of the day, including the family feast

Trying to pull together a dinner menu, complete with the perfect dessert, barely leaves time to dream up a drink that compliments it all.

And that’s where Eva Longoria comes in. The actress wants to take something off your plate this holiday season by giving you the recipe for her favorite viral holiday cocktail.

The White Christmas Margarita is the perfect cold-weather drink that will warm you right up.

In the words of Longoria herself, if it has the word margarita in it… Sign. Us. Up.

She makes the drink using her very own luxury sipping tequila, Casa Del Sol.

It’s a take on a classic margarita but with a wintery twist, as the coconut milk and cream of coconut give the drink a white glow that’s reminiscent of snow. But, one sip and you’ll instantly be transported to the tropical islands. If you close your eyes, you'll feel as though you're spending Christmas on the beach—and that's a gift you didn't know you needed.

Check out the full recipe below:

Casa Del Sol Tequila White Christmas Margarita

Serves 6:

  • 12 oz. of Casa Del Sol Blanco
  • 1 (14-oz.) can unsweetened coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp. cream of coconut
  • 8 oz. triple sec
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • Ice
  • Blend until smooth

If you want to make the drink *extra* festive, you can always add a sugar rim and garnish it with cranberries and a twig of rosemary for a little pop of color—just be sure not to stir it in or drink it!
